In a new study, O'Kane, Chancel and Ehrsson present experimental findings and a theoretical model suggesting that the sense of one's whole body as one's own is probabilistically inferred from the sense of ownership of individual body parts.

A new study published in Behavioural Brain Research reexamines the claim that blind individuals are “immune” to the somatic (non-visual) rubber hand illusion and finds that the data supports this assertion. The work was done in collaboration with Marcin Szwed and Maksymilian Korczyk from Jagiellonian University.
